My work is essentially built around the line. Whether captured in the landscapes around us, directly during works, or even created by hand on paper or digitally, the line serves as a visual effect to illustrate the substance of my thoughts. I use these lines as a form of narrative, but brought to life in an abstract way. With these graphic expressions immortalized in matter, my wish is to suggest and provoke reflection, questioning or even emotions when looking at my works. I leave room for personal interpretation, for escaping into the imaginary. For the most part, I practice my art through the technique of blown glass, which gives me an immense range of possibilities and makes all my ideas feasible. For some years now, I’ve been making plates, which I use as supports for my stories, like paintings. The line work can be done using a variety of techniques, from blown glass to sandblasting with a light-sensitive mask or diamond wheel engraving. Finally, I use the contrast between black and white to create a striking composition that draws attention to the details of the lines.
After several group exhibitions, my first solo show was unveiled in February 2024. My works created for the occasion were the fruit of desire, research and personal unveiling. My work led to two publications, the first in GlasHaus magazine and the second in the Revue de la céramique et du verre, Nouveau Talent section.
